A young man and a philosopher have a discussion. The philosopher explains Adlerian psychology and philosophy while the youth challenges it with a Freudian view.

I was initially put off by the format of the book; the back-and-forth between the two people feels constructed, but once I got into it it, I noticed it doesn’t matter. The goal of this book is not to be a literary masterpiece but to convey the gist of Adlerian psychology, and it does that wonderfully. Questions that rose up after reading the philosopher’s words were often asked by the youth.

There are many moments in this book that made me rethink how I view life and interpersonal relationships. Great book if this interests you even the slightest.
